Participants from countries such as China and India attending ISS2025 will need a valid entry VISA information for the VISA application (nationality, occupation, date of birth, age, name as stated in the passport, gender, intended stay, flight schedule, contact information in Japan, etc.) well in advance of the symposium. The ISS-Secretariat will send the required documents for the VISA application to presenters who have completed pre-registration after the payment of participation fees.

Please note that the issuance of VISA application documents is limited to presenters and their co-authors and exhibitors. If there is no presentation, the ISS-Secretariat will not assist with VISA application documents. The duration of stay to be indicated on the VISA application should generally include the period of ISS2025 and be about one week. The VISAs that the ISS-Secretariat can handle are limited to those issued for the purpose of attending ISS2025.
If you wish to extend your stay in Japan for purposes other than participating in ISS2025, please apply for your visa yourself through a travel agency or similar for all dates including the ISS participation period. The ISS-Secretariat cannot support this case.
