At ISS2025, we are pleased to announce two awards: the ISS Best Student Award, designated for student presenters, and the ISS Best Presentation Award, intended for young researchers aged 34 and under. We warmly encourage eligible participants to apply. Please note that only those who have registered for the awards in advance will be considered for evaluation. If you missed the opportunity to apply during abstract submission and wish to be considered now, kindly contact the secretariat via email at info4iss@iss-board.org, providing your full name, abstract submission number, and the type of award you wish to apply for. The reason for distinguishing between the Student Award and the Presentation Award lies in the differing evaluation criteria. Both poster and oral presentations are equally eligible for review, and neither format will be given precedence over the other. Please note that invited speakers are not eligible for these awards. One recipient will be selected from each of the four thematic areas: PC (Physics and Chemistry), ED (Electronic Devices), WB (Wires and Bulk), and AP (Large Scale Applications). Awardees will be announced during the closing ceremony on the final day of the symposium, where commemorative gifts will be presented by Chairperson Prof. Atsutaka Maeda. Furthermore, the award recipients will be featured on the official ISS website.
